Axis Rebels
Quick Overview of What They Are:
~Costs 1 Pacification Aglet to launch
~Rewards include emblems, lion emblems/hearts, Code of Draco, bread, and more
~Levels up heroes very quickly
~Only lose 20% of what is shown in battle report
~Troop count stays the same through round 1-10, no special reward for round 10
~Small players can team with big players to get rewards
~Arena time is always 2 minutes, and return time is ALWAYS 15 minutes or less, regardless of troops used

How to Start:
~Level 60+ hero with trait points first in Sway, then bravery, then parry (recommended to add to parry until lvl 70 or so to decrease losses, then start adding to Bravery... or split the points between the two)
~About 30-40k equites against the first level, Front Squads
~Pacification Aglet (obtained through the Exchange tab, can get 10 per day, costs 10k sest, 100k lumber and 100k stone to purchase one)
~Leonidas, Dentantus, or Cicero medals help greatly, as do Caesar Marques.
~Techs lvl 7+, especially Equitation, Footpace, and Medication/Security
How to Set Up:
*****Please NOTE: For the absolute minimum losses, it is suggested to send 6 dummy heroes ahead of your initial fighting army. This takes out some extra shots from the principes and reduces the amount of ponies you lose by about half. Only do this if you have the heroes to spare though.
1. Going Solo: You will want to be closer to 40k equites or more if you plan on soloing a Front Squad (referred to as FS by most).
----Your main hero will need to have 5 (just 5)/5/40k+ equites. This must be the set up or you will take more losses if spread out among the 3 slots. Lead the attack with a dummy hero of 5/5/5 hasti and 5/5/5 sagi * (see note below). Next, join with your main hero, then follow up with another dummy.
----For your first few attacks, you will want to add probably 6-8 more dummies behind your initial 3 heroes because the battle WILL last 3+ rounds using this strategy.
----Remember to add in this specific order (d/h/d/d/d/d/d/d/d+ where d = dummy and h = hammer) or you may lose quite a bit more. Haven't tested that to be honest though, if you feel brave I suppose you could xP ha.
----One last suggestion, in determining when to advance to the next level, I personally do that when my hero no longer levels up once with each attack (give or take)... For example, when his exp required to level surpasses the amount you gain from one hit. Then I advance to the next, unless I'm attacking specifically for the rewards given. Then it doesn't really matter.
1.5 Going Solo (Alternate):
Pretty much the same thing as above, the only difference being some players add about 5-10k hasti on the side of the ponies to decrease pony loss when they don't have ponies to spare. You can get away with sending less ponies this way. More info and hopefully screenies on this to come later.
2. Attacking with a Buddy: You and your buddy can both have around 30-40k equites, it doesn't really matter. However, you'll both want your heroes at LEAST lvl 40-50 for it to work properly. Don't worry though, once you start hitting these your hero will level incredibly fast.
----The person who initiates first will be the one to get any and all rewards. Anyone else who joins behind the initiator will only share in the experience.
----To attack with a buddy, one of you must launch with a dummy, then add a hammer, then the other person add their hammer. So d/h/h/d/d/d/d+. You will lose a little less, and possibly take it down in 2 rounds instead of 3+. You also won't need as many dummies, although I recommend for the first try or two you send 6 or 7 until you both get used to working together.
----Depending who has the bigger army determines how much hero exp you both get. If it's about the same, then you'll both get an equal amount. If someone's significantly larger, then the larger hero will get more exp. You both will get some though.
*Note: 5/5/5 is what is required, although I personally set up as 11/11/11 of each because it's a pain in the rear to continually set them up. The 11 goes down to 8 each, then 6 each, then 4 each before you have to refill them.

Types and Rewards of the Axes:
(please note that most info in this section regarding the items was grabbed from the following link, but don't pay attention to the troop suggestions: caesary.freeforums.org/axis-rebels-for-dummies-t17.html)
~All Axes have 3 defending heroes, which the troop count shown is split across the 3.
~Also please forgive the lack of troop/hero suggestion past Light Armored squads, I will update the info later as I'm experimenting with possible troop types etc to bring it down to less rounds.
~Another note, I have heard of folks sending 6-9 dummies AHEAD of their first 3 heroes to take out some of the principe missiles. Apparently this does mildly work, I just don't personally use it because I'm lazy and I have gear that works pretty well, so the losses don't vary much for me. Would rather save the 6-9 dummies for other things.
