Important Strategies for Survival
Preface: Found yourself in a newly merged server or joining an older one? Here are tips to help you survive and even advance in a higher level server.
I'll be adding to this later, this is just a few good tips for those of us in CallOfRoma X7.

General Tips:
~Have LOTS of movers! You can get these by marauding lvl 3's and 4's with principes (with little to no losses, see HERE for a marauding guide)
~Avoid p*ssing off bigger players/leagues (no-brainer). Part of staying alive is realizing your balls are NOT the size of Jupiter. Seriously.
~Make sure you grab your free troop packs every day (need 25 gray, yellow, and purple aglets + 4 red passes for that - 13 troop packs FREE each day)
~If you can, make sure you use ALL your Pacification Aglets before reset. You only get 10 per day, don't waste them. If you don't use them or don't have the troops to do so, ask for help from the league! Here's a guide on how to hit the Axis HERE.
~Recruit any and all level 1 heroes. You will need the extra physical for all the marauding and WSC/RC hits you should be doing. (good amount per city is about 30, total retainer = 600, and at 10 physical cost per normal maraud, that's 150 marauds out of those 30 heroes. Every 6 hours. Dammit you need to be doing this!!!). See HERE for a little bit more info on low level heroes.
~On top of grabbing your aglets, your lvl 3 and 4 marauds should get you Maps. Try and turn in your maps each day! If you don't need the Hippo plans anymore, exchange them for Virvituous plots. Three = 1 Code of Draco (useful for getting your Rect and Researches above lvl 11).

Surviving WSC and RC Reset Times:
~The MOST IMPORTANT key to getting anything during a WSC/RC reset is to be present BEFORE and DURING the reset time. Make sure you know when the next one is if you want to participate!
~Also, remember that during reset, the server lag times are HORRENDOUS!!! Lag happens every 6 minutes (example: 3:00, 3:06, 3:12 etc) and lasts for 30 seconds to a couple minutes. So keep an eye on the clock when you launch. I usually pause whatever I'm doing right before it lags so I don't get screwed up by it.
~In case you don't know or forgot, here's a quick guide on how to attack WSC Levels 1-10 HERE.
~If you're going for the WSCs/red passes: Make sure you know which cities have level 10 plazas, and make sure they have at least 10 heroes with 100/100/100 equites on each. This makes the launching fast and efficient. You can click any WSC and launch TWO MINUTES before the reset. Each arena lasts for 2 minutes, so by the time your heroes start hitting the WSC, it will have been reset to level 1. Nifty trick for getting there first.
~The more cities you can have participate in the reset means a better chance of getting more red passes.
~If you're going for the RC emblems: Make sure you've got 10 heroes with a single pony to launch at the RC of your choice at exactly reset time. It would help if you used a random mover to port in close, so your travel time is the shortest possible. Many people go for the Parthia, Carthage, and mainly Egypt emblems. The quicker you launch = better chance of getting at least a few hits. If you don't have the troops to add to each attack, make sure you coordinate with some helpers beforehand.

Surviving Separated Cities
~This is actually quite easy. It's recommended that you get your cities as close to each other as possible, but you want to be able to move freely as well. I like to use Random Movers to get my cities into the same "state", and if I have extras, I keep moving them until they land the closest possible to each other.
~Easy way to transport resources between separated cities: Read This Guide to see how to trans millions of resource in ONE transport (up to 200m at ONCE), 30 minutes or less regardless of distance.
~Make sure you've structured your cities to support each other, whether they're close by or separated. See This Guide Right Hurr for a suggested city setup.
